The Shillong Chamber Choir has officially announced that they will be releasing a new single, a song composed by the late founder of the choir, Neil Nongkynrih, called ‘The Great Indian Train Journey’.
The music video will premiere on the SCC’s official YouTube channel at 2pm on July 9, which also happens to be Nongkynrih’s birthday.
The choir informed that Nongkynrih, who passed away in January this year, makes an appearance in the video.
“The song is a musical depiction of the Indian train journey and all Uncle Neil wanted to do was to bring joy to people through this colourful piece of music,” a press note by the SCC’s William Richmond Basaiawmoit said today.
