Prasar Bharati and Akashvani Shillong in collaboration with Sankardev College held an extempore speech competition for the students of the college on the theme ‘India Of My Dreams’ here yesterday.
B Zoramthangi, Programme Executive, delivered the welcome address on behalf of Prasar Bharati while FA Dkhar, Assistant Director, delivered an address on behalf of Akashvani Shillong.
Kapil Gogoi from the Department of Chemistry secured first place, Browin Kharmang from the Department of English was second and Prarthana Phukan from the Department of Sociology came third.The competition was chaired by Basilica Nongpluh.
