South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai laid the foundation stone for construction of the RCC sitting gallery, retaining wall, storm water drain at Madan Laban Playground.
The sanctioned was made under State Plan Scheme for Rs 1.65 crore. Shullai assured that the implementation of the project will immediately start without any delay. He also lauded the efforts put by the official of State Sports Council and the Government and active participation by the Dorbar Shnong Madan – Riat Laban and the Madan Laban Sports and Cultural Club and Raid Laban Dorbar, who have parted off their land free of cost for the said project.
