Shillong South MLA Sanbor Shullai yesterday inaugurated the newly constructed Land Development for Public Multi Utility Field/Public Toilets and Bathrooms Facilities at Paltan Bazar here.
The scheme was planned, initiated and recommended by Shullai.
The function was addressed by Paltan Bazar headman Lamki Kyndiah, Cantonment Board member Neelam Gurung-Ward and Bimal Bajaj, president of Paltan Bazar Welfare Committee and other local leaders.
The speakers appreciated and lauded the initiative and sustained efforts of Shullai for bringing various developmental schemes from various departments which has fulfilled the long aspiration of the people of Paltan Bazar area.
