South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai conducted a meeting-cum-joint inspection yesterday for the speedy implementation and completion of the ongoing construction of a playfield and children’s park at Dhobitala, Jhalupara, and the ongoing construction of public toilets/urinals and bathroom facilities, including renovation and beautification of the park at Paltan Bazar.
The meeting-cum-joint inspection was attended by Mohan Limbu, headman, and members of Jhalupara Village Council, Lamki Kyndiah, headman, and members of Paltan Bazar Village Council, officials of the Shillong Cantonment Board and residents.
The total cost of the above development projects is Rs 40 lakh, sanctioned under Central AMRUT Scheme and state government Special Urban Works Programme Scheme 2021-22.
