Secretary of the Rotary Club of Orchid City, Vivek Kumar was today assaulted by a group of miscreants who were part of a procession at Lumparing near Hill Top Chateau.
Kumar, who was on his way home, had given way to a vehicle procession. As per a FIR lodged at Laban police station, mini trucks and vehicles with some boys inside threw stones at Kumar’s vehicle, but he was assaulted when he stuck his head out of the window to look.
The miscreants also tried to drag Kumar out of the vehicle, but managed to escape after he accelerated his vehicle.
