As part of the observation of International Day against Drug abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2022, the office of the East Khasi Hills District Social Welfare Officer today conducted a road-show at Nongmensong market.
District Child Protection Officer, M.L Warjri highlighted on the objectives of the programme. She said drug addiction and substance abuse has become a disease in the community and called for cooperation of individuals, NGOs and the community to eradicate the disease for the welfare of the youth.
