Nongpoh, Feb 5: The office of the Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi in collaboration with FILO, has launched a special coaching programme via mobile phone app for government job aspirants.
The programme is aimed at candidates who have completed Class 12 and are aspiring for various government jobs at the district, state and central levels.
Speaking to the media, Deputy Commissioner Abhilash Baranwal, along with Additional DC Eric K Dkhar, informed that the programme will begin in March. The registration fee has been fixed at Rs 500 per candidate, of which Rs 400 will be subsidised by the government for candidates from Ri-Bhoi, while the aspirants will need to pay only Rs 100.
Interested candidates can register through the link: https://tinyurl.com/25c5rwpc. The programme will offer live online classes as well as recorded sessions, allowing students to attend classes at their convenience.
The district officials stated that the initiative was taken after observing that while many aspirants perform well in English and General Knowledge, they often face difficulties in Mathematics and Reasoning. The programme aims to strengthen these areas and better prepare youths for competitive government examinations.
