Wahlang lauded the government for its initiative to eradicate TB through the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. He also encouraged groups and individuals to come forward to support TB patients, many of whom come from economically disadvantaged families and struggle to access proper food and nutrition.
