The Synjuk ki Rangbah Shnong Ri Bhoi District today felicitated 11 athletes who brought laurels to the district during the recently concluded North East Olympic Games.
The synjuk also felicitated Margret Pathaw for bringing home Gold from the world arm wrestling championship held in Turkey.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic), G. Marshillong attended the programme as the chief guest. During his speech he lauded the synjuk for recognising talents, which will inspire youngsters to take up sports and be free from social evils.
Synjuk president, B.B Makdoh, general secretary, P.B Sylliang, HNYF, Northern Region president Marcus Marten and others were present at the programme.
