The East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner has informed that home delivery services in respect of restaurants, kitchens, cafes, fast food outlets and bakeries that have already applied for permission can operate from 9 am to 8 pm up until August 29.
Only delivery executives who have sought approval from the DC’s office will be permitted to deliver food items, as per regulation of number of passes on each day.
All establishments are to make efforts to complete vaccination of staff at the earliest and submit the details of vaccinated/unvaccinated staff to the DC’s office at ddmaeastkhasihills@gmail.com, failing which permission to operate will be withdrawn. Proprietors will display the vaccination status of their staff in a conspicuous place at the store premises for all future reference and delivery executives will display theirs on their IDs.
