Rambrai Jyrngam MDC Bajop Pyngrope has said that the reports on the interstate border dispute submitted by the two regional committees for Ri-Bhoi and West Khasi Hills should be put into the public domain.
Speaking to Highland Post recently, the MDC said that the reports were based on the willingness of the people and most of the people in the disputed border areas want to be with Meghalaya.
Informing that in the case of his own constituency, all the villages have with one voice passed a resolution to be part of Meghalaya no matter what, Pyngrope said, “Our constituency, comprising of a population of more than 10,000, are all willing to be with Meghalaya and this is the case even in other areas of difference.”
