Shillong, Jan 23: A quiz competition on Operation Sindoor was held at the PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya NEPA, Umiam today which saw the participation of 100 students from five schools.
The competition was held in a written offline format to observe Prakram Diwas, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. It was organized under the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS).
The competition witnessed an outstanding performance by Adarsh Singh of KV Umroi, who secured the first position with a score of 96.66 per cent.
Students were drawn from classes IX to XII that included those from the Christ Public School, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Niangbari, St. Francis School, Kendriya Vidyalaya Umroi and Kendriya Vidyalaya NEPA.
