Shillong, Mar 5: To commemorate International Women’s Day 2026, under the initiative of the National Commission for Women (NCW) New Delhi and in collaboration with the State Women Commissions, ‘Mahila Jan Sunwai’ (Women’s Public Hearings) will be organised across the country from the March 9 to 13.
In Meghalaya, the public hearing for women will be held on March 11 at the Polo Ground parking lot in Shillong from 11:30am.
The hearing will be chaired by the Chairperson of the Meghalaya State Commission for Women. Walk-in complaints will be accepted on the scheduled date of the hearing.
