The Police Training School, Umran, has been awarded the Union Home Minister’s Trophy for Best Non-Gazetted Training Institute in the North East region; it was announced by Meghalaya Police today.
A total of 18 institutes across the nation were conferred with the award in different categories, which also include grant-in-aid as sanctioned by the government of India and a Home Minister’s Disc for those institutes winning at the national level.
