The Meghalaya Powerlifting and Fitness Association will hold a powerlifting competition on March 29 at Umsning.
The powerlifting competition will comprise bench press, squats and deadlifts.
Interested candidates can apply for online registration and the registration fee is Rs 500. The last date for online registration is March 24. Offline registration is also available.
The association members also have announced the competition calendar for the year 2025-26. In June, there will be a squat competition in Shillong and a deadlift competition in August, followed by a beach press competition in October. There will also be a national competition in October 2026 in Haryana.
