Even after the body of a veterinary staff was recovered yesterday, police are yet to register a case.
Prolington Suchiang, a staff of the Veterinary & Animal Husbandry department had left his house on August 25 in his Maruti Alto bearing registration number ML-04-B-9093. He had told this family that he was going to Jowai.
He went missing after that till his body was found yesterday in Thwai Rongtuiñ Wapungshnong area which falls under East Jaiñtia Hills (EJH) district.
While the EJH SP, Jagpal Singh Dhanao today said that the case does not fall under his district, his counterpart in the West Jaiñtia Hills, Bikram D Marak said his police station had just registered a missing complaint.
Till filing of this report no other information is available as to what had happened to Suchiang and what caused his death.
