Police recovered a male decomposed dead body from Mawïong, Block-4 and has sought identification from the public.
In a press release today, the East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police informed that the body was recovered from the jungle in the area on March 8.
The person is aged about 35-45 years and approximately 5.7 feet tall. He was wearing a blue track type pant and a v-neck type light green t-shirt.
Police have asked concerned people who could identify to call the in charge police control room, Shillong at 0364-2222214/2222215.
