The Central Recruitment Board (CRB) of the Meghalaya Police has offered candidates scheduled to take the physical efficiency test (PET) to join the police force to defer the date of the PET if it clashes with their school, college or university examinations.
All candidates who face this issue are to approach PET Centre where they have been allotted a PET slot to submit an application for a change of date.
The applicants must provide a photocopy of the PET admit card, photocopy of their admit card for the relevant examination that clashes with the PET and photocopy of the examination schedule issued by the school, college or university.
The CRB will then provide an alternate date and PET centre. However, the CRB iterated that this deferment can only be done once per applicant. “Requests for multiple changes to the PET date will not be entertained,” the CRB said in a press release today.
The application to change the PET date must be received by the CRB by November 18. For further information, candidates are advised to approach the CRB office or helpline on 6033164273 during office hours.
