Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not attend Meghalaya’s 50th anniversary celebrations on January 21, at least not in person, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong confirmed today.
“The Prime Minister has communicated that he cannot come to the state. However, there will be a kind of statement to be given by him virtually,” Tysong said.
