Petrol prices increased again today for the seventh consecutive day.
However, unlike in the past, oil marketing companies only raised the pump price of petrol while keeping diesel rates unchanged.
Accordingly, the pump price of petrol in Meghalaya increased by 35 paisa per litre to jump to Rs 104.55 a litre, while diesel prices remained at yesterday’s level of Rs 97.37 a litre.
