In an effort to enhance awareness about recruitment into the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) for the post of Constable (GD) through the Staff Selection Commission, the 67th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a comprehensive campaign at Mawsynram yesterday.
The event witnessed active participation from the local community, with youths from the region enthusiastically joining the campaign, which was conducted in collaboration with Ollan Singh Suin, the local MLA.
Valuable information about the application process, eligibility criteria and the diverse career paths available within the CAPF were provided.
CAPF includes the CRPF, Assam Rifles, Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, etc.
The CRPF’s 67th Battalion considered Mawsynram to be an ideal location to connect with local youths and raise awareness about career prospects in the security forces, a press release said today. The event featured informative sessions, interactive discussions and Q&A sessions to address queries from aspiring candidates.
Deputy Commandant Sanjeev Kumar, Assistant Commandant Mukesh Sharma, and personnel of the battalion participated and encouraged the local youths to join the CAPF.
