East Jaintia Hills police recovered 373.61 kg marijuana and nabbed a person identified as Babul Medhi on Tuesday evening.
Based on credible input, the Umkiang Police patrol post had laid a naka at Damchera and intercepted a Toyota Innova car bearing registration No AS01 BV 6264.
When the vehicle was inspected, the team found the consignment and immediately seized it.
The 29-year-old accused hails from Mayjonga Gaon under Marnol PS in Assam.
Police said the consignment was meant for Shillong and originated from Tripura.
