Ahead of 3rd Sohra International Half Marathon 2024, an inspection was carried out today by officials of the Meghalaya State Olympic Association (MSOA), Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Police, PWD, Medical, Tourism, including other line departments from Laitsohpliah to Mawsmai.
The marathon is scheduled on September 21.
The inspection was followed by a detailed review and discussion chaired by Sohra Sub Divisional Officer, Saloni Verma.
MSOA general secretary, Finely Pariat has urged all participants who have registered both online and offline for the 5K Run for Fun to collect their t-Shirts on September 18 from the JN Complex between 12 pm to 5 pm after producing the registration acknowledgement and submission of Photo copy ID proof.
Those who cannot collect personally can submit an authorisation letter from participants concerned, he informed.
The issue of t-shirts and Bib numbers for others for 21k and 10k will be issued on September 19 and 20.
He said buses for transportation will be placed at the Shillong Central Library from 4:30 am and the last bus will depart at 5 am.
