The Assam Rifles Official Language Implementation Committee meeting was held yesterday with emphasis to implement Hindi through motivation and encouragement.
The meeting which was held at the DGAR headquarter in Laitkor was chaired by Additional Director General Assam Rifles, Major General JS Bainsla and attended by Principal Staff Officers, Head of Branches and Commandants of local units.
During the meeting, reports were given by all members regarding implementation of the Official Language Policy in their offices and agenda points were discussed.
Bainsla inspired all the officers to increase the use of Hindi in their day to day work.. He added that Hindi noting and drafting incentive scheme should be introduced in all offices.
