The Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary by holding a cleaning drive yesterday at Kutmadan, Sohra.
The drive was jointly organised by the Seng Samla Kutmadan.
The club’s president, K Syiemlieh, flagged off the event. Members of the Seng Samla, Secretary of Kutmadan village, NSS volunteers from Sohra Government College, NCC cadets of Rama Krishna Mission Higher Secondary School Sohra and others took part in the event.
This event was conducted by NYV Shella Block, Kyntiewlang Nongrum, in collaboration with Wadborlang Majaw, Secretary of the Seng Samla Kutmadan.
