Kitboklang Nongrem has been elected as the new president of the National People’s Youth Front (NPYF).
In his speech, Nongrem said that as the new president, his duty will be to see that growth of the youth wing and the NPP in the state.
“My top priority will be to travel to every district of the state and constitute the youth wing to further strengthen the party. We will also intensify the youth enrolment drive of the party in the state,” he said.
He said that the NPYF is an important wing of the party and by working together with the parent body it will support all the issues of the party.
Stating that none of the other parties took matters seriously like the NPP when it comes to solving issues like the boundary issue, Harijan Colony, ILP etc, he said that the NPYF fully supports all the issues and wants to see all the issues see the light of the day.
