Overcoming numerous challenges and obstacles in its pursuit of providing quality education, Nongrim Byrnihat Presbyterian Secondary School has reached the ripe age of 25 and began its silver jubilee celebrations today.
Jirang MLA Sosthenes Sohtun was present at the launch as well as Jirang MDC Victor Rani, Joint Director of School Education in Ri-Bhoi Vincent Nianglang, Rev PG Khongsdir and the Headmistress, Batrity Pyngrope.
During the opening ceremony, Nianglang released a commemorative souvenir encapsulating the school’s 25-year journey.
The founders of the school, dedicated teachers and the pioneering batch of students who successfully cleared the SSLC examination from this institution were also felicitated.
Addressing the gathering, Sohtun applauded the founders and teachers, attributing the success of the school to their sacrifices and unwavering dedication to imparting quality education to the young generation of the Byrnihat area.
