Shillong, Aug 3: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Shillong completed its three-day orientation programme on Friday for the incoming class of 2025.
The programme was designed to integrate new students into the academic and social environment of NIFT Shillong. The programme included around 100-plus students enrolled in various UG Design programmes and PG Fashion management Programme. As a welcome gesture and to equip them for their academic journey, drawing and stationery kits containing essential tools sponsored by Union Bank of India, Shillong were distributed to the fresh batch of students.
During the orientation sessions, the students explored the campus and its various facilities and interacted with their faculty, senior students and administration staff.
The orientation concluded with a cultural programme where the students showcased their acting and dancing skills and musical talents which made the ambience in the open air theatre filled with energy and vigour.
