The National People’s Party (NPP) of Ri-Bhoi district felicitated Mawhati MLA Dasakhiatbha Lamare upon his recent induction as cabinet minister.
At a gathering held at Umsaw Nongkharai village today, Jirang MLA Sosthenes Sohtun, Jirang MDC Victor Rani and Umroi MDC RR Kharbuki felicitated the youngest minister in the cabinet.
Lamare’s father, Ngaitlang Dhar (the former Umroi MLA), and mother, Mimi Lamare, were also present at the function.
Lamare has been allotted the Fisheries and Public Works Department (Buildings) portfolios with half of the government’s five year term left to go.
