An Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centre (AAM) was today inaugurated at Bonggare Olbaknang under Manikganj PHC, Resubelpara by Mendipathar MLA Marthon J Sangma.
Dedicating the new centre to local people Sangma congratulated them and assured them that basic medical care and facilities would be available at their doorstep.
The centre was set up to bring health care services closer to the people with upgraded medical infrastructures, improved health services for the welfare of the people, Sangma said.
He also said that the government is committed to boost the education sector by uplifting government LP Schools, UP Schools and SSA schools in the region.
SD & MO Dr NR Marak highlighted the facilities of the centre. Ante Natal Care for expecting mothers, screening of Non Communicable Disease (NCD) and other services under OPD section are some of the services that will be provided under the centre.
