To acquaint himself with the functioning of Raj Bhavan, the newly-appointed Governor of Meghalaya, Phagu Chauhan, today met with his officers and staff.
Chauhan took charge as Governor of Meghalaya on Saturday. According to a press release today, he showed keen interest to learn about the social-economic fabric of Meghalaya and the overall development status of the state.
Citing the roles and responsibilities of Raj Bhavan, he urged all present to work with mutual cooperation and dedication to ensure the smooth functioning of Raj Bhavan and the overall wellbeing of the people and the state as a whole.
