Prof. Tanie Natung of NEIGRIHMS was honoured by the Eastern India Zonal Ophthalmological Congress (EIZOC) during its 35th Annual Conference held on October 15-16 at Patna.
He was felicitated by the President and Honorary General Secretary of EIZOC “in recognition of his contribution par excellence in promoting science of Ophthalmology in East Zone of India.”
This award is given to the ophthalmologists making significant impacts to the growth of Ophthalmology in the eastern zone of India, by EIZOC, which is a registered society of ophthalmologists from 12 states of eastern India.
Prof. Natung is also the recipient of the prestigious ‘Sushruta Samman’ award, the highest national award accorded by the Forum of Ophthalmology Professors of India. He has also won the ‘International Council of Ophthalmology’ Fellowship award and the ‘Delhi Ophthalmological Society’ travel grant award.
