The NEIGRIHMS Faculty Association (NFA) has condemned the attack of health workers at Hojai, Assam and Chikkamgaluru, Karnataka.
“Repeated instances of such barbaric acts have shocked us all,” NFA in a press release said. The association said such attacks on doctors and other health care workers who are providing services beyond the call of duty during the pandemic have demoralized them.
Urging authorities to take note of such heinous incidents and decree solid provision to ensure the safety and security of health workers, the association said it stands in solidarity with the Indian Medical Association and Assam Medical Service Association.
