The new body of NEHU Non-Teaching Staff Association (NEHUNSA) was declared elected today. The body will serve for a period of two years with effect from the date of sitting of the first Staff Council meeting.
According to a press statement issued by NEHU, Dr. Wandondor Rynjah Synrem was elected as president of NEHUNSA, Shongdorlang Diengdoh as vice president, Jonathan Phira Nongbri as general secretary and Danny Marius Synnah as assistant general secretary.
The other office bearers include Alok Chakraborty as social welfare secretary, Dannis A. Bareh as library, publicity and publication secretary, John Mario Sohtun as education and cultural programme secretary, Audrey R. Synnah as recreational facilities secretary and Newmei Alex Huthombou as treasurer.
The office bearers included Binod Kumar Mezar, Barihunlang Myrthong, Dr. Jamesteword Khongsngi and Nurul Islam Barbhuyan.
