Vice-Chancellor of North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Prof PS Shukla, was conferred with an award for higher education at an event in New Delhi today.
The occasion was an international conference, ‘India Beyond 75: CEOs Conference’. Shukla was the special guest and speaker on the occasion.
The main theme of the conference was ‘Steering Inclusive Development for Shaping New India’. Renowned actor Kabir Bedi was also conferred with the ‘India @ 75 Platinum Excellence Life Time Achievement Amrit Award’.
This event covered topics on the National Education Policy 2020, Startup India, Make in India, Digital India, Vocal for Local, Ayushman Bharat, E-Mobility, and Invest India campaigns with panel discussions on how to “reform, perform, and transform” in line with the central government’s vision.
Sudhendu J Sinha, Advisor (Infra) of NITI Aayog, had set the agenda and Amitabh Kant, of the G-20 countries‘ secretariat and former CEO of NITI Aayog, delivered the keynote address on India’s future in the next 25 years.
Anup K Mudgal, former Indian High Commissioner to Mauritius, chaired the plenary session.
