The National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled (NCSC-DA), under the Directorate General of Employment (DGE), Ministry of Labour & Employment organised a job fair exclusively for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).
The initiative was organised in collaboration with the American India Foundation on February 4, aimed to promote economic empowerment and integrate PwDs into the mainstream workforce.
A total of 79 PwD candidates with Locomotor Disability (LD), Speech and Hearing Impairment (SHI), and Visual Impairment (VI) participated in the fair.
Six leading employers— Reliance Retail, Domino’s Pizza, Compass Group, Teleperformance, Employment Express, and Anamata Outsourcing—offered roles such as Delivery Associate, HR Recruiter, Customer Support, and Multiple Roles.
Out of the 79 candidates, 41 were shortlisted for employment opportunities.
Directorate of Employment Director JP Lakiang and Ram Shakal Sahani, Director, Composite Regional Centre (CRC) attended the fair as guests in the presence of Jaydip Mukherjee, Project Lead, MSRLMS, Sujit Kumar Sahoo, ADE & SREO, NCSC-DA, and Revati Vishwanathan, Project Lead Manager, American India Foundation.
