NCC cadets today paid rich floral tribute in memory of martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty at a function held in the premises of St. Anthony’s College.
The programme was attended by officers, staff and cadets of the NCC Group, Shillong as part of its glorious 75 years of NCC
Brig Vijayant Mahadik, Group Commander NCC Group HQ Shillong saluted the sacrifice of Meghalaya’s Kargil Hero, Capt Clifford K Nongrum and encouraged the cadets to always be role models to the society and to be always available for the service of the nation.
Principal Brother Albert, who welcomed the guests including the parents of Capt Nongrum, said that his sacrifice will always continue to be an inspiration to the Cadets.
