A group of youth behind start-up food business, Shillong Tiffins, were felicitated for their efforts by the Additional Director General of the National Cadet Corps at the latter’s North East directorate here today.
Shillong Tiffins began in November to serve homemade Indian and Khasi food with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options to homes and offices.
The ADG, Ananta Bhuyan, complimented the youth on the new venture and wished them well for the future.
During his interaction, Bhuyan expressed his happiness that more and more youth are coming up with new ideas and each of these contributes to nation building. He said that the youth of Meghalaya have huge potential and the National Cadet Corps, being one of the biggest youth organizations, is always ready to support them.
