Shillong, Sep 13: The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA), which organised the National Lok Adalat on Saturday, in the High Court of Meghalaya and all the districts of the state took up a total number of 847 cases.
Of these, 462 pre-litigation cases and 385 pending cases were taken up for settlement during the National Lok Adalat.
Of the total number of 847 cases taken up, 288 cases were settled for a total amount of Rs. 2,65,82,254.
