National Lok Adalat was today held across Meghalaya in which 237 cases were settled and an amount of Rs of Rs 1, 03, 88, 270.09 was settled.
The number of cases taken up at the Lok Adalat was 1019, out of which, 675 are Pre-Litigation cases and 344 pending cases.
Held under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) the National Lok Adalat was held under the supervision of the Justice R. V. More also the Executive Chairman of the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority.
