To promote sports culture, sportsmanship, fitness and competitive spirit among women, the Nehru Yuva Kendra (Mawpat) organised the ‘Nari Shakti Fitness Run’ in Umpling here.
The run was held to celebrate the International Women’s Day under the theme ‘Invest in women: Accelerate progress ‘.
All women of the locality and members of different SHG (self help groups) and village organisations took part in the run.
