Shillong, Feb 11: The National Academy of Broadcasting and Multimedia (NABM), the apex Human Resource Development Training Academy of Prasar Bharati organized a three-day training programme on digital resource management and preservation at the Regional Academy of Broadcasting & Multimedia, RABM (P) Shillong.
The training, which concluded today, was attended by 27 Assistant Library and Information Officers and Library and Information Assistants from various Kendras of Akashvani and Doordarshan from all over the country.
The training covered key topics such as current trends in library system, networking cloud computing in digital library, metadata creation management and information processing system in archives and IPR, open source software application and implementation, classification and codification of resource material in audio visual library, digital library: issues challenges and plagiarism.
