Social activist, columnist and former Unitarian Church pastor Helpme Hamkhein Mohrmen who has decided to contest the 2023 Assembly elections from Jowai constituency has today joined the Trinamool Congress.
Mohrmen was earlier approached by the IPAC which is conducting political surveys for Trinamool Congress in Meghalaya.
He decided to join the Trinamool Congress after leaders of the party met him and offered ticket to contest the 2023 polls from Jowai.
