The Meghalaya government has decided to extend the suspension on mobile internet and data for another 48 hours.
The mobile internet suspension has been imposed in seven districts, an official statement read.
The 48-hour mobile internet suspension began on November 22 afternoon in the wake of the Mukroh incident.
Today at 10:30 am, the suspension has been extended for another 48 hours in the districts of West Jaiñtia Hills, East Jaiñtia Hills, East Khasi Hills, Ri – Bhoi, Eastern West Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills, and South West Khasi Hills.
