Shillong, Apr 3: As part of its community-based research and sustainable development, Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU) formally handed over key deliverables arising from its community engagement and research collaboration in Mawmluh village.
The handover ceremony took place on March 31, marking an important milestone in the partnership between the university and the village community.
The deliverables included a comprehensive research report, poster, brochures on the cave and map of the village outlining the findings and outcomes of the collaborative study conducted in Mawmluh.
The handover event was attended by the Pro Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar, faculty members of MLCU, and Executive Member of Mawmluh Sirdarship including the Member from the Mawmluh Tourism and Allied Activities Cooperative Society (MTAACS).
Earlier on March 20, MLCU and Mawmluh formalised their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
