A 16-year-old girl was raped and threatened with murder by one person in West Khasi Hills.
According to a complaint lodged by family members to Nongstoin police, the girl was raped on September 17 at around 8 pm.
Police have registered the case under POCSO Act and have also arrested the accused.
It was also alleged that the accused had threatened the family members of the girl when they went to Nongstoin police station to lodge a complaint against him.
