A marathon to celebrate Meghalaya Day was organised by the East Khasi Hills district administration here today.
The marathon witnessed participation of hundreds of citizens including police personnel, NCC cadets, Agniveer candidates and others.
Deputy Commissioner Rosette M Kurbah, Superintendent of Police Sylvester Nongtnger, SP (City) Vivek Syiem among others took part in the marathon.
A pledged was also administered to the participants by the Deputy Commissioner.
