A one-day media sensitisation programme for the designated public relations officers of various districts and units of Meghalaya Police was organized at the Police Headquarters, here today.

The sensitisation programme was an initiative of DGP, L. R. Bishnoi with a dual objective of timely dissemination of information to media and providing police insights into varied dimensions of media.
The programme also comprised of an interactive session among the police officials and the panellists wherein, views on expectations of police and media, highlighting of good works by police, prompt sharing of factual information, and confidentiality of information were exchanged in a relaxed ambience.
