The West Jaiñtia Hills District Magistrate has ordered immediate closure of lawmusiang (Pohiaw), CNI Market (law Chor), Presbyterian Market (law Shyiap) and Seinraij Market (law Seinraij), lawmusiang, Jowai for violation of COVID-19 Protocols like not wearing of face mask and not maintaining of Social Distancing.
The markets have been ordered remain closed until further orders.
Violation of this order shall be punished with fine under section 51(b) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
